Very dirty inside and out. Dirt and smelly towels. Dirty bathroom. Never clean glass or cup the entire stay. Never change bed sheets at all during the entire stay. When ask for more towel or change towel, the owner simply say no.
Hotel staff was rude.they can not speak english.i stayed for 2 days.it was so rainy lasy day.my room was leaking too much.even I put all my towels to absorb the water on the floor.i will never stay in this hotel again.too much discusting smell in the entrance of the hotel.do not deserve to be even star hotel.
The hotel staff were efficient even assisted us to get hotel transfer to the airport from the hotel at a good rate. Hotel was located near the Bund but most of the taxi drivers did not really know the address. We had to use the address of a more known hotel and explain with difficulty since Chinese is not our language to the driver that it was near the known hotel. We stayed in 2 rooms for 3 nights and we got a standard, fitted 2 people and a family room, fitted 3 people.
We got breakfast included but the breakfast was more for local fare. It would have been nice if they had some kind of jam to go with the plain bread or sliced toast. Even butter and jam would have helped. There was a coffee machine at the lobby quite cheap and good enough according to my taste.
Its in the city centre of Shanghai within 10 minutes walk from the bund and the absolutely crazy packed pedestrian/shopping mall at East Nanjing Road (Nanjing Donglu)...very convenient location. The staff although not very communicative are generally helpful like when you need the use of the safety deposit box or if need to call for a taxi. The biggest plus point is its central location in relation to the room price; value for money.
Nothing to complaint for the price but the communicative skills of the staff could be improved. Generally I will say it's good value for money unless one expects too much.
This hotel room was a clean quiet place, Very good for budget seekers. I would use again if I ever was to return here.
The hotel has a fair standard of service and has a good location close to Beijing Road East. The price is very low for this location but the quality is no more than adequate.
The bathroom could have used a more through clean and the staff were a little less than friendly.
Good value for the money!! Good location, 3 blocks from the "golden mile" and the metro station.
Poor breakfast... no cofee
Free internet access was only over the cable, no wifi available so I couldn't access internet with an iPhone. Using the internet-enabled pc in the lobby was 5RMB/30mins.
room is clean.
seem not to have internet. No food nearby.Bed is rock hard.reception very infrendly. reception area and walkway is not clean.Phone broke down once. Only room is clean.
Good location...only 5 min walk from Nanjing Rd Pedestrian Street and Metro Lines 2 and10. Quiet locality by the Suzhou River and about 15 min walk to the Bund. Typical Chinese breakfast served was not too bad. Would stay again on next trip to Shanghai
The location was very close to Nanjing road, and local stores for shoping and also close to the bund for walking, photos etc
Need renovation (new paints etc), The matress of the bed was very-very hard like sleeping on the floor. And there was hardware shops close and one of theme with metals (iron, steel) making to much noisy. Two of the three days of our stay very early in the morning they load trucks with big noisy that we was waking up from 7:00 A.M.
I've stayed in quite a few budget hotels already in China, and this hotel had by far the worst staff I've encountered so far. They even attempted not to pay back the warranty I paid for the key because I allegedly had left the sheets very dirt (which was absolutely not the case). Bad experience, definitely not recommended.
the breakfast in chines stype is ok for me.
i think it will be much better if they get the lobby better decrated !!
its near nanjing road and the bund. its very accessible, just few streets away from the metro.
poor internet connection and the breakfast doesn't taste good
Hotel is very close to downtown, quiet, clean and prices are cheap.
Breakfast can really be improved. No coffee, no tea, very bad orange juice. But it is not a real issue because hotel is very close to a starbuck coffee.
